Sisters Lend a Helping Hand to DOVE

DOVE Shelter

DOVE (Domestic Violence Ended) is a Domestic Violence shelter in Quincy, Massachusetts. Over several weeks throughout the late summer and early fall, the Boston Sisters in the Brotherhood committee worked with DOVE to rebuild five porches and a fence for the shelter.

This work was done in honor of our friend, Amelia Phinney, NASRCC Business Representative/Organizer, who passed in April. Amelia was committed to lifting up the unrepresented, and played a key role in planning this last year. Her legacy lives on through the programs and organizations she supported and through all those who benefited from her leadership, compassion, and generosity.
