The North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (NASRCC) marked a major milestone today with a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the $3.6 million expansion of its Syracuse training center. The newly expanded facility has tripled in size to accommodate the growing demand for skilled carpenters in Central New York.

The governors of Massachusetts and Rhode Island jointly announced their plan to purchase 2,878 MW of energy from three offshore wind projects. The agreement will generate at total of more than 12,000 at three projects: SouthCoast Wind, NewEngland Wind 1 and Vineyard Wind 2.
