A strong union needs skills, benefits and ACTION!
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today is election day, and none of us can afford to watch and hope for the best when politics equals paychecks. Voting is not just a right; it’s a way to protect our jobs and livelihoods.
Members are the engine that makes the Carpenters Union run, both on the job site and in our communities. By voting today, you can help elect officeholders at all levels of government who support Carpenter issues — and ensure anti-worker candidates are defeated.
Let’s make sure we’re heard today — because when it comes to our paychecks, we can’t afford to sit on the sidelines. It’s time to vote to protect your union and future.
Visit https://www.carpenters.org/election-center/ to find out where your polling place is and to get a list of our endorsed candidates. If you have questions, you can call our office at 800-275-6200 and a member of the political team will be able to help.
I know that this has been a difficult and divisive election season for many, but know that regardless of who wins, our union will continue to work with elected officials from both sides of the aisle to move our union and the nation forward.
In Solidarity,
Joseph Byrne
